The Birth of the New Order in ancient Ogu Kingdom, headquarter of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria.

The flag for the house with the name “Obuoforibo  Omu Aru meaning (War Canoe) is the gun boat  in Okrika dialect of the Ijaw language  ” The logo., the Canoe ,manila, paddle and canon mounted onboard the front and back of the wooden boat , and Oje Biri Buru Ikuno Paka   as the motto of the newest Chieftaincy House . Also, the Red and white color of the flag was the paraphrenia of a full fledged War Canoe House. Red signifies Bravery, revolution, power, courage and white meaning Peace and unity of the Obuoforibo's.

Each War Canoe House has its own badge and color which is boldly signified the symbol of the Omu Aru .

Warisenibo ( Elder ) Geroge Anaka Obuoforibo was elected  the Chairman, Jinbobaraye Karibo-Nelson -secretary of the House. 

Karibo-Nelson having served the Obuoforibo( Onye family for a decade, and was Publicity Secretary of the great family before the present appointment for the Chieftaincy House.in Offiamani Group of Chieftaincy Houses in Ogu Kingdom .

  Flashback : On this day May 26, 2011 my dearly beloved Mother Madam Tamunoene Sunday Titi Bennett Opuda , died, at the age of 82. Shе passed away  peaceful in Port Harcourt ,Rivers State. My memories of her are full of Joy and happiness to the Glory of God Almighty,  continue  to rest dear mother in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. A great blessed  mum that loved me  and her beloved grandchildren beyond words. We missed you, Bye. Did you know?  The remains of my Beloved Mother late Madam Tamunoene Bennett Opuda of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area was interred on Saturday 2nd July 2011 in her country home, Ogu. After a Day vigil and funeral service officiated by the Diocese of Okrika, St Martin’s Anglican Church, Ogu Town by the Vicar in charge Venerable G.T.Orabere, assisted by Rev T.K.    Installation of Paramount Chief, Alabo Ibiso Tamunomie Iyama Obuoforibo of Ogu Kingdom, Rivers State, Nigeria. T he 19 th of April ,2025, was a milestone in ancient Ogu Kingdom, headquarter of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria. On that blessed day, Alabo Ibiso Tamunomie Iyama Obuoforibo was installed and crowned as Paramount head, Alabo of the newly created Chieftaincy War Canoe House in Offiamani Group of War Canoe Houses, to be henceforth known as, Alabo (Chief) Ibiso Tamunomie Iyama Obuoforibo, Obuoforibo the 11, Ogunu Feni 1 st .   Ogu Town    formerly an Island  now peninsula after the land reclamation (Dredging) of the mangrove forest during the Second Republic led by the Patriotic and Visionary leader  Chief Dr. Melford Obene Okilo of old Rivers State ,  is the  administrative headquarters of  Ogu/Bolo  Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State, Nigeria. It is situated in the eastern part of the Niger Delta, the Ogu people are of the Wakirike-se, a sub-group of the larger Ijaw tribe in Nigeria.
